Lego Modular Buildings history:
Modular Buildings is a sub-theme of Creator introduced in 2007, which features large, detailed, connectable buildings, primarily aimed at older teenage and adult fans of LEGO. To date there have been nine sets ranging from fire houses to town halls. Each set costs around £100 GBP/$150 USD except for the more expensive 10224 Town Hall , 10243 Parisian Restaurant, and the 10th Anniversary 10255 Assembly Square and the cheaper 10182 Café Corner and 10190 Market Street.
Street Layout
The original Street Layout is the combination of any of the following: 10182 Café Corner, 10185 Green Grocer, 10190 Market Street, 10197 Fire Brigade, 10218 Pet Shop, 10211 Grand Emporium, 10224 Town Hall, 10232 Palace Cinema and 10243 Parisian Restaurant, 10246 Detective's Office, 10251 Brick Bank, and 10255 Assembly Square. In 2018, a new street layout was established. The second Street layout includes the following: 10260 Downtown Diner, 10264 Corner Garage, and 10270 Bookshop.It utilizes TECHNIC pins to connect the buildings together. Café Corner, Grand Emporium, Palace Cinema, Brick Bank, and Corner Garage are connecting corners by which two sides of the layout can be joined together.
