Compass Academy, a project-based learning high school in Idaho Falls, coordinated with the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Upper Snake Field Office staff to provide a unique, hands-on learning experience to about 130 of its sophomore students. Students learned about issues facing our public lands and then were tasked with developing a marketing campaign that would shed light on issues like illegal dumping and human-caused wildfires. The students did a fantastic job and now BLM will be able to use some of the student-created products for future marketing. Thanks to all the students involved in this cool partnership!
