Since I have both cameras I wanted to try them in late afternoon side by side while running. Honestly, I’m not sure the difference is great enough to justify an upgrade from X4 to X5, BUT if you look, you can definitely see the X5 video is sharper, less grainy in dark spots, has better sound, and much better wind noise cancelation. Enjoy and pick the differences and decide for yourself if you want the full X5 with the bigger sensor, or an X4 which I imagine many are going cheap now with the new model out, and especially in normal light and wind conditions would be pretty much the same.
