For my ACS 537 Noise Control Engineering students (Spring 2022) --- a demonstration comparing the accuracy of the NIOSH sound level meter app on an iPad Air with external mic (MicW i436) and iPhone 12 with external mic (MicW i437). They are both Type 2 mics and apps, which means each has a +/- 2.5 dB accuracy . . . this demos shows that even when both systems are correctly calibrated, they can be as much as 4 dB different.
