Comparing my Animal Crossing towns. Updated for July 2026, this video contrasts my towns in each Animal Crossing game in a series of quick comparisons. This includes villager lists, my favorites/worsts (current and all-time), my town fruit, grass shape, town rating, HRA scores, paths I use, and more. It also lists historical information like when each town was established, when the museum was completed, and so on.
New categories include the first villager to give me their photo in each game, my favorite room in my house, town ordinances, and UFOs shot down. I also brought back the town tune category which I left out of the previous version.
The background footage is from Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii), Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS), and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch).

ABOUT TOWN ORDINANCES: City Folk doesn't technically have town ordinances, but Tom Nook does let you revert to previous shops based on whether you prefer more variety or better hours. The "better hours" option reverts to Nook 'n' Go, which has later hours and lets me sell catches until 1 a.m.! Especially helpful for late night bug hunts! For all intents and purposes, this is the precursor to the "night owl" ordinance in later games.
ABOUT LEAST FAVORITE VILLAGERS: Just because a villager is my least-favorite in a town doesn't mean I don't like them. I like Mira, and Louie and Pecan aren't bad either. (Baabara and Truffles, on the other hand... 😆) But still, these are just my opinions and it's fine if you feel otherwise. We all have our likes and dislikes!
ABOUT GAMECUBE STARTERS: I don't know my GameCube starting villagers because that was 20+ years ago, and I didn't keep track of them back then. I had no reason to believe that would be something I'd care about so many years later, haha.
ABOUT LONGEST TENURED VILLAGERS: For this category, I only count the villager's *current* stint in town (not the total time spent in Forest). So that's why Big Top doesn't hold the ACCF title, because he left in 2022 and returned in 2024. But to be fair, Antonio *also* had a previous stint in Forest. So it's not an all-time running total, and I don't have the ability to calculate that for the older games.
ABOUT THE FIRST HYBRID FLOWERS: To be more accurate, this category should probably be called "first hybrid flowers *that I noticed.*" I didn't always pay much attention to the flowers in the early games, so it's quite possible I had others that I didn't notice were special.
