Three FAB cast-ons that look similar but are quite different in form and function.
Knitted Cast-On: It has a flexible edge with visible loops. It's my FAVE if I'm going to add fringe.
Lace Cast-On: Perfect for those lace edges that curve. It's elastic and nearly invisible, which gives your lace room to move.
Cable Cast-On: A real beauty (especially with my trick for the perfect end - from Patty's Knitting Bag of Tricks). It's a firm, decorative braid that looks like a twisted cable. This bad boy will hold its shape!
