This is a prototype Compaq LTE 386s/20 I recently acquired. It has several differences to the production models, such as gray embossings, a different screen bezel that is made from untextured plastic, and only 1MB of RAM built on to the motherboard versus the 2MB the production units have.
As you can hear, the hard drive is not happy in this machine. Hopefully I can get it going and see what's on it!
