A vibrant dialogue between photography, installation art, and sound, this short film—created by Arthur Stammet (https://arthur-stammet.lu) in May 2026—breathes motion into a series of photographs by Arndt Oehmichen (https://www.arndt-oehmichen.de).

Guided by Stammet’s highly rhythmic soundtrack, the film cuts rapidly through countless visual variations of an installation by Berlin artist Klaus Abromeit (https://klausabromeit.de). Their collaboration forms a meeting point between Berlin and Luxembourg, where visual art, music, and photography merge into a single kinetic reflection.

The colours of the Luxembourgish flag pulse throughout the piece, underscoring a meditation on memory, heritage, and the fragile act of preserving the past—whether in photographs or in moving images.

$The Fractal Cathedral - Mandelbulb 3D Fractal animation on a Soundtrack played by Paul Kayser Movie created by Arthur Stammet in March 2015. Soundtrack improvised on the Consdorf Organ by Paul Kayser (recorded 19th October 2012). The original fractal footage has been rendered by Arthur Stammet in Mandelbulb 3D, tweaked in After Effects and mounted in Premiere. The movie is a long flight through a constantly morphing Sierpinsky-Cathedral, driven by a very calm, meditative Music, played on the Consdorf organ by Paul Kayser. This video describes a rather dangerous world, where nothing is really how it appears to its visitor, attracted by a golden surface which risks to turn at any moment into poison or a beautiful, psychedelic landscape.
