In this talk, given on November 18, 2020, Professor Budd Hall reviewed developments in Canada and at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, in the field of community-university engagement. The areas of focus were outreach, engaged learning and community-based research. Budd Hall is the Co-Chair of the UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education and Professor Emeritus in Community Development at the University of Victoria.
