Kiswahili Common Voice mini-conference is a learning and sharing event to engage with language and tech communities spearheading community led data creation initiatives. We will share our experience designing, building and engaging with Kiswahili communities across Kenya, Tanzania and DRC, exploring community engagement, co-designing with communities, downstream impact including gender and redefining platforms for crowdsourcing datasets.
