Philip Fisher is known as the father of growth investing. His growth investing strategy is based on a 15 point checklist which he refers to as his scuttlebutt approach.
He is a long term investor and is not afraid to invest in a stock if it is priced above its intrinsic value, anticipating that the growth will increase many fold in the future.
Fisher is a hugely influential investor, even Warren Buffet recommends Fishers style. His son Ken Fisher is also well known, but more as a value investor than a pure growth investor.
