I open up a recently acquired Commodore Amiga CD32 console. I wanted to check out the state of the PCB, especially as things looked a bit suspect with the casing.
I'm glad I did when I find the mess that's inside it.

This first part covers opening it all up, taking a look around and dismantling all of the casing ready for cleaning.
In the next part I'll clean it up and do some basic testing to see if it works.
