In 2023 UK government removed the requirement for phone companies to support facsimile machines, which means were at risk of losing if not using a great technology thats more secure & robust than email, and works where theres no Internet. To help the cause Ive become intrigued by the idea of receiving comments for such a modern medium as YouTube, via such a soon-to-be obsolete and some say archaic technology as fax, right down to getting an old copper wire POTS (plain old telephone service) landline installed. And to achieve this in the most nostalgic way possible I want to hunt down the exact model Brother or Samsung fax machine I had as a teen when I worked for Amiga music software company The Blue Ribbon Soundworks, and even do a fax repair on it if needed.
