Hello everyone, I was about to say “I drew this in between work” but I suppose this is work? It’s some personal (vent?) art I made in the past few days, the character ✨devouring✨ Scootaloo is my OCs “dark side” Eclipse! What gore-speedpainter is complete without an edgy alter ego, am I right? I’m convinced it’s a part of our culture at this point, but I’m loving it. I’m not quite sure how I feel about the result? On one hand, I like it, but on the other, I feel like something is missing... oh well, you win some, you lose some!

If youre still here... hello! I dont usually vent or talk about things going on with me in depth, but maybe reading about my experience with these themes may give somebody hope that things can get better.
At the start of last year, I fell into a severe depression. Id had feelings like that before, but this time I fell in DEEP. Self hatred turned to self destruction and I started hurting myself, but before I even got a chance to process that I was breaking down, my suicidal thoughts began. These also got worse, until the point I almost committed suicide.
Its been many months since my last attempt, and Im really grateful to say that Im doing better. The thoughts still flutter back into my mind every now and then, but Ive slowly grown to love life, and myself, again. Im forever learning and still healing, but I can now (tearfully) say that Ive found happiness again.
If I could give anybody going through this advice, please, reach out. It doesnt matter to who, whether its your partner, your best friend, your parents, sibling or even a stranger on suicide hotlines, please,, dont isolate yourself. I made the mistake of doing this last year, and I wish I wouldnt have shut everybody out.
Youre not alone, and no matter how hopeless things may seem, there really is a light at the end of the tunnel. Its going to be okay. ♥️
