Feeling contrarian lately? If so, perhaps it would make sense to put commercial real estate under the microscope, an asset class which has been in the spotlight a fair bit in recent years... and for quite a few reasons.
Some positive, some less so.
As this video will hopefully explain, commercial real estate most definitely has potential but this doesn't mean the tricky situation it finds itself in due to the remote work conundrum will be something that can simply be shrugged off.
Commercial real estate should not be considered attractive because it represents a foolproof asset class or because you (falsely) consider it perfect. On the contrary, it should be considered attractive because so many people currently consider it the exact opposite of perfect.
And when you have an asset class such as commercial real estate, with a lot going for it fundamentally speaking, that is on the bad end of public discourse, it bears keeping in mind that the public is oftentimes too harsh in contexts like this one and opportunities can be had for this precise reason.
