This whole event was madness, and the fact that I got called to do this despite being retired from FTL for nearly three years apparently speaks words to how resonant Insurrection was within at least some parts of the community.
I'm just glad that I was able to, in the month or two of advance warning, finished what I had started and completed Insurrection, well, completely. Now I can rest easy (and also no longer have to deal with MV fanboys because bloody hell).

While I didnt beat it on my first try (that was aborted due to random event losing crew, and the second one was instant unavoidable Zoltan with Ion and two Beams), this vessel was just almost too cheap to use. One scary moment halfway through aside, it was pretty much a textbook victory.")
