Okay, now that that's out of the way...yes, believe it or not, I made a tool-assisted speedrun that got published on TASVideos nearly a decade ago. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it another watch. I have been many years removed from having watched this last time, so much of this is improvised commentary, and as I say in the video, it's not going to be in-depth. Much of it is my comments about what was going on in my life at the time, what inspired me to make it, and it was my one-hit wonder. As in, the only "serious" TAS I ever fully completed, and after that I vanished from TASing never to be seen again.
This is also probably the first time I've done a video with my voice in eons. And yes, I did this whole commentary in one sitting. Again, this is not in-depth, and if you're a TAS veteran, you're probably not going to enjoy it a lot; this is more for people who have known me for a while, but I won't stop you from watching it if you wish!
Since I didn't really go over it in the video, the reason I'm not still into speedrunning today is because I noticed I was enjoying games less and less, and I spent more time thinking of what the fastest way to do things were rather than actually enjoying them. And I plainly just got tired of it. Either way, I hope you enjoy this video! Kick back and relax, and listen to me ramble about my 13-year-old life!

You know, I havent uploaded a Team Fortress 2 video yet. I have 300 hours logged on it and its one of the only 60FPS things I can upload right now with the recent YouTube update in mind. I should fix that. my thought process behind this video.
Basically I was screwing around with Open Broadcaster Software on ctf_doublecross and it would have been nothing remarkable...if it werent for the amount of times I shouldnt have gotten away but did. I should have fixed the mic recording but I got lazy. I didnt say anything important anyway.
If anybody wants more TF2 stuff from me feel free to ask. Again, I play this game regularly so feel free to join me whenever possible. If I make any more videos like this there will probably be more commentary involved.
Oh yeah, if youre flustered over me uploading first person shooter footage, TF2 is currently the only one that has really caught my attention for how absurd and cartoony it is, as opposed to most of the mundane ones that try to be gritty and serious. Even the promotional material alone is worth watching if you dont play the game the Meet the Team videos and Expiration Date are hilarious through and through. Also, this wont be a regular thing; its just something to tide you over while college keeps me busy.
As for the whole 60FPS thing, I dont know how many videos of that nature you are going to see pop up here any time soon. I do not consider cursor movement enough to warrant recording a video at 60 FPS, so most edutainment/Humongous/2D games will stay 30. I have considered redoing LEGO game walkthroughs if the game runs in 60FPS (with the exception of LEGO Island, since while it does run in 60, its near unplayable thanks to faulty timer issues everywhere), but unfortunately I cant do most of them at the moment since Microsoft botched DirectDraw support in Windows 8 causing any games that relied on it to run slowly, well below the intended 60FPS. I dont have access to my old Windows XP desktop at college either, so that makes things even more difficult. Who knows what the future will bring though?
