Hi there, Liron here!
Today we'll be painting a lovely Alpine cabin.
I have quite a few thoughts regarding this process.
1 - Watercolors' inherent nature allowes for a variety of ways of commanding focus. Smooth transitions, wet-in-wet etc... Are HUGE assets when it comes to visual storytelling.
2 - Where to start - I often paint scenes like this by starting with the FOCAL POINT itself. I'm the freshest & most focused in the beginning, so the focal point wins all of that energy.
Plus, I then get to later add the background and control just how much out of focus it is.
3 - Non-linear process & Spontaneity - A lot of what I do comes to me in the very moment of painting it.
That's where true, joyful creation comes from.
Finding that place = perfect painting, can make no mistakes.
Perhaps someone may find this useful or inspiring.
