Released in 1995 near the end of the Sega Genesis era, Comix Zone remains one of the most visually distinctive games ever created. Instead of fighting your way across traditional levels, you battle through the pages of a living comic book as Sketch Turner, an artist trapped inside his own creation by the villain Mortus.

But Comix Zone's reputation isn't built on presentation alone. Beneath the incredible artwork, comic panels, and speech bubbles lies a surprisingly demanding game that rewards planning, memorization, and mastery as much as quick reflexes.
