After 5 years of playing mostly modded Rust on my own servers, I finally returned to Vanilla Rust… and it was brutal. Everyone said I couldn’t survive Vanilla after sticking to Winterust 2x, but this wipe I set out to prove them wrong.

This is my first Vanilla run in half a decade, and I’ll be solo grinding on Rustralia, our brand-new monthly Vanilla server powered by Winterust. It’s completely Vanilla, with just a few quality-of-life tweaks like auto-fill backpacks and chainsaws hitting the X on trees. No VIP paywalls, no gimmicks, just pure Rust with smart fixes.
