Working with Claire for the second time she guided us on the process of how to think about the the words presented to us to begin to distill into a comic version of the story.

Questions for looking at the rough draft with:

Who is the main character of this page?
Who are the supporting characters?
Are there any details of their clothes that can be guessed at based on the text?
What sorts of settings are you picturing or would you expect to see on a page with this text?
How many events are mentioned on this page?
What is the most important event?
How might you depict that event?
What sort of props might you expect to see in the picture on this page?
Could you add any elements of the other events into your illustration plan?
