In an all too familiar type story, SNL comic Leslie Jones talks about how she worked for a Scientology group in Glendale, CA. That and Pasadena are still full of cultists. This is because in the 1970s the cult was HQd on Hollywood Boulevard, which was trashy. Glendale & Pasadena were the only nearby places to live that were affordable and upscale and a quick drive to Sci services in Scientolllywood.
