About Bart Sears:
Bart Sears is a legendary comic book artist and designer with a professional career spanning more than 35 years. Known for his dynamic storytelling and powerful anatomy, Sears has worked with publishers including DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Image, Valiant, and CrossGen on titles such as Captain America and the Falcon, Justice League Europe, Legend of the Dark Knight, X-O Manowar, Turok, and Conan. Beyond comics, he has contributed to the toy and gaming industries with work on G.I. Joe, WWF, C.O.P.S., and X-Men action figures. Sears also inspired a generation of artists through his iconic “Brutes & Babes” tutorial series in Wizard Magazine and continues to teach through books, online content, and instructional art programs.

About Jamie Jones:
Jamie is a cartoonist and illustrator living in Philadelphia, PA. His works include Quarter Killer (comixology), Tales of MFR (monkeysfightingrobots.com), and his pulp action adventure comic The Baboon. And his Pulp Anthology, SPAKOW! Over the past two years, he has served as Program Director of Indie Comics Creator Con, where he has worked to build panels and events that elevate the convention. Jamie is a co-founder of the comics collective and distributor Power Pulp Comics.

What is Comic Art LIVE?
Comic Art LIVE is a twice annual virtual Comic Art Convention hosted both on the Comic Art Fans website (www.comicartfans.com) and here on CAF+ YouTube channel, each May and November. The May 2026 show is our 13th event, and more than 7,000 comic artworks will be available for purchase that weekend on Comic Art Fans, from Art Collectors, Dealers, Art Reps and Artists. More than 10 panels with Comics Professionals and Fans will be hosted over the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday, with several of the Panels offering art buying opportunities. If you're a Comic Art Fan, you don't want to miss this free to attend event. The Event starts at 1pm EST on Saturday, May 16th and closes at 10pm Sunday, May 17th.
