Hi everyone! Welcome to the 4th episode of "Comic Art 101", where I and my friends in the live chat discuss topics that will help guide and educate newer collectors as well as inform some veteran collectors in the Original Comic Art hobby as well. My co-host for this 4th episode of the series is my friend and regular Live Chat Crew member, the inimitable Jason Ladwig! Jason is a newish collector, having only been collecting comic book art for approximately 3.5 years now, and always had great questions as well as insights theories and opinions about all things hobby related, so I'm thrilled and privileged not only to call him my friend, but also to have him return as my co-host tonight!
Tonight's episode is dedicated to the controversial topic of re-inking vintage pages that have either faded or changed pigmentation from black to a maroon-ish brown or burgundy. This topic had come up on at least two previous shows on this channel and the conversation was very lively and spirited each time, so I said we should dedicate an entire episode to the topic someday and here we are! I know it'll be fun as it always is and I look forward to seeing the rest of you crew members and hopefully some newer collectors as well, later this evening!
