Many people point at the safe space, at comfort, as a problem. They call it affulence, weakness but is also related to being an NPC or ideologically possessed, arrogant, ignorant and stubborn.
Safe spaces are dangerous to everyone else, just not the person/people in them. They require others to make them happen, so that puts you under their influence and control - hopefully you realize that. There is an implicit threat of removal of comfort too, which is non-verbal.
