- It feels like the future is coming at us faster than ever. Technology we use in our daily lives is making us savvier energy consumers. Cars, trucks, buses, and buildings are electrifying. Solar panels and windmills are popping up across our communities, and climate change creates new challenges to providing reliable power. ComEd has kept the lights on for over a century, but keeping the lights on is no longer enough.

- ComEd must be prepared for the demands of the future, and we must have a vision that will meet our customers' needs. Because the future is carbon-free. Called ComEd 2030, our vision has five pillars. We will plan and operate a 100% carbon-free power grid that supports an electrified future, we will strengthen the grid in the face of climate change, we will use technology to optimize our operations and help manage costs, we will be a catalyst for positive community outcomes, innovation, and job creation for all communities that we serve, and we will provide simple, clean energy choices for our customers.

- ComEd's vision supports the goals of Illinois's Climate and Equitable Jobs Act, or CEJA, and reinforces its aim to tackle the climate crisis, embrace clean energy, and transform communities through local jobs and investments. ComEd has important work ahead, but we start from a position of strength. We're providing record breaking reliability, we have a smarter and more resilient grid, we've lowered costs for our customers, we're delivering lots of carbon-free power, and we have created a better overall customer experience.

- The future is coming.

- Faster than ever.

- Let's get ready.
