Party Pensioner: Dance Party Extravaganza BGT's Steven Hall

Steven Hall is a comedic dancer who reached the Final of Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 54, hailed from Kendal, located in Cumbria, and worked as a Telecommunications engineer at the time of his audition.

In his audition, he danced to a medley of songs, including 'Macarena, 'Thriller, 'The Birdie Song', 'YMCA', and 'We Will Rock You', by moving his body around a singular position upon the stage and imitating the moves to the song, before moving across the stage during Thriller, and removing his jacket during the song prior to 'My Name Is' by Eminem, and removing his trousers during 'Hammer Time' by MC Hammer, and performing Riverdance to an Irish piece of music. Amanda described his performance as 'brilliantly entertaining', with Michael adding, 'I don't know if Telecommunications is where you should be'.

In the Semi-Finals, he danced to 'Waka Waka', 'Crazy in Love', 'Hey Mickey', 'Jai Ho!', and other songs as he held onto the hands of a woman who lay down and pulled her towards the stage, before then dancing alongside several backing dancers, and bowed his head after a woman banged a small handheld gong. Amanda remarked 'You were brilliant tonight', with David adding 'That was the weirdest act ever'. He advanced onto the Judges Vote and received three votes from Simon, Amanda, & Michael, whereas David voted for Edward Reid, therefore meaning Hall advanced onto the Final.

In the Final, he danced to 'Firestarter', 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble', '9 to 5', 'Who Let The Dogs Out', 'Bonkers', 'Monster', 'I'm in the Mood for Dancing', 'The Club is Alive', 'Eye of the Tiger', 'You Got The Love', 'Crazy in Love', 'Guaglione', and other songs, whilst accompanied by several backing dancers and at points would perform the dance routines to these songs. Amanda remarked 'You are up there with [Stavros Flatley]', with Simon adding 'I thought that was absolutely fantastic'. He ultimately placed 7th overall.
