Boy, it's been a minute doing one of those!
Once I was a musical mep open from @DreamingWithDragons for her birthday, I HAD to jump at the chance. I hope you like it because it almost took up my storage xD
The scenes are inspired from the Netflix movie of the same name, 'Tick Tick Boom (to those who are unfamiliar with the musical, it is kind of Jonathan Larsen's autobiography about his past works at one period of his life before his death. And the movie is so freakin' good I reccommend anyone to watch it, not just musical theatre fans!). In the movie, Directed by freakin Lin-Manuel Miranda, he took this song and portray it in to different aspects, one that is personal to Jonathan about his actions towards his ex-girlfriend and the other where the public listens to song completely unaware of his personal struggle to write his songs. I originally planned to have an ending where my portrayal of Jonathan (aka Miguel) would choose his music over his girlfriend due to his fear of losing time, but since I was losing space in my computer, I decided to scrap it and leave it to your interpretation.
