This is my acoustic cover of a classic delta blues song Come on in my kitchen by the legend Mr. Robert Johnson. I played it on an Epiphone Dobro Hound dog acoustic guitar fitted with extra light strings (10 - 47) and tuned to an open A (E, A, E, A, C#, E). I used Jim Dunlop's glass slide nr. 212 (it fits nicely to my pinky and due to the thick glass it produces strong sound). Audio, recording and mixing was done in Cubase. The video for this acoustic cover of Come on in my kitchen was shot on LUMIX S5 camera (in V-log profile) with Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 lens and ND variable filter (K&F Concept). I also used hazer during filming to create a bit softer (cinematic) look. Video was then edited and color graded in Davinci Resolve 18.

Background:
Robert Johnson is one of the greatest blues musicians of all time. Legend has it that he took his guitar to the crossroads of Highways 49 and 61 in Clarksdale, Mississippi where the devil retuned his instrument in exchange for his soul. He returned with a formidable technique and a mastery of the blues... He recorded Come on in my kitchen on November 23, 1936 at the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio (Texas).
