Hi everyone,
Anmitsu is a traditional Japanese dessert dating back to the Meiji era. It consists of a variety of fruits, agar jelly (I used kanten jelly here!), red bean paste, mochi and ice cream. I made the shiratama dango and added an extra touch - tapioca! Unfortunately I couldn't find kuromistu syrup to top it off, so I used dark brown sugar instead. I had so much fun making this and I've already made it a few times for me and my family. We love it because it is such a refreshing dessert, and seeing the colours on a plate bring more joy to the eating experience.
PS. excuse my chopstick skills, I want to blame it on the soft fruits but it's really just me xD
Sincerely,
A.W.
