Combining Pentatonic Scale Patterns by Matthias Young will show you how to connect the Em Pentatonic Scale in two different positions by using slides. First we'll review this scale in the 5th position at the 10th fret and then the 1st positions at the 12 fret. Matthias will then outline how and where you can combine these two patterns by sliding from one position to the other. This can be a useful tool for position shifting while soloing.
