There's been a number of folks that have, with good reason, concluded that these "leaked" screenshots of the alleged optics rework that Nikita has said is coming with the 12.11 patch of Escape from Tarkov, are fake. Perhaps they were created with image manipulation, or more likely added into some single player/offline modded version of the game.
In my honest opinion, for what I'm hoping to achieve with this video, whether they are fake or not is largely irrelevant. What I aim to do with this video is explain exactly how and why so many of the scopes in Tarkov are objectively bad and even broken in many cases, and provide examples and demonstrations of ways in which they could be improved. I spent a bunch of time flailing around in photoshop like an idiot trying to make some passable examples, and then these "leaked" images metaphorically came across my desk and were simply fantastic examples of what the optics COULD and SHOULD look like. There's no reason why the optics rework coming in 12.11 shouldn't be somewhere in the ballpark of the examples I gave or perhaps, if we're lucky, the "leaked" screenshots were actual examples of the work Nikita and Battlestate Games have been doing to improve the scopes and sights in Tarkov. Time will tell!
