Our day starts off with some cloudiness, which may produce a sprinkle or light shower. More sun eventually breaks through, sending highs to around 90° this afternoon. With the mugginess, it’ll feel more like the mid-90s at times.
Tomorrow is the start of September and climatological fall, but it sure won’t seem like it. Highs reach the lower to middle 90s Tuesday and Wednesday, and the heat index should top out near 100° in the afternoons. There’s a slight chance of a shower or storm both days.
Rain chances pick up somewhat later this week as the ridge of heat shifts back to the west. We’ll still have highs in the lower 90s on Thursday, settling back to the 80s after that. For the OSU game on Saturday, we should see highs in the lower 80s, although we have a low-end rain chance we’re keeping an eye on.
