We’re facing another steamy day across central Ohio. Skies will be mostly sunny, sending highs to the lower to middle 90s. The heat index will climb to around 100° at times again this afternoon. We also have a very slim chance of a shower/storm today — I don’t expect anything like the activity that hung around areas north and east of Columbus yesterday.
Hot, humid weather continues tomorrow with highs in the 90s once more, along with heat indices near 100°. There’s a better chance of scattered storms developing, and a couple of them could be strong to severe.
The chance of spotty storms continues Friday and Saturday. For now, it seems the morning is the favored timing both days, at least here in central Ohio. However, that may shift depending on when exactly the little disturbances come through. Temperatures and humidity will gradually come down over Labor Day Weekend.
