Animal advocates say a Columbia County horse abuse sentence was too lenient and worry it could allow more animals to suffer.

Andrea Nussinow of Blue Star Farms on Nevis Road in Tivoli was found guilty in June by Hudson City Court Judge John Connor on three counts of torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide proper food and water.
