In preparing for this video, I noticed that "lyrics websites" have the final phrase of the song as "when I've been loved," but it sounds like Donovan is singing "low" or maybe "loaved" (Scottish pronunciation?). Joan Baez clearly sings, "when I've been low" in her cover and in her collab with Donovan. To be honest, I have a hard time interpreting that line either way, so I decided to go with "loved," since I didn't want to end the song on a low note, pardon the pun.
The video clips feature some flowers in our garden, along with a couple of clips from Shirakawa-Go, where my wife and I visited last summer. I don't grow corn, so the monstera and daphne will have to do to represent green!
