Due to technical track issues, Colossos remained closed from 7/28/2016 on. The coaster underwent extensive refurbishment and reopened on April 19th 2019. The coaster remained a wooden coaster and was not converted into a hybrid coaster with steel track. Extensive theming as well as new trains were added for the 2019 season.
