Restoring and colorizing a rare photo of a Native American couple, Situwuka and Katwachsnea.

Louis Situwuka Shotridge was an American art collector and ethnological assistant who was an expert on the traditions of his people, the Tlingit nation. His Tlingit name was Stoowukháa, which means "Astute One." His wife, Florence Dennis (Katwachsnea) whom he married in a traditional Tlingit marriage, was of the Lukaax.ádi clan.
