Colonel Burnaby - A British Folk Song in honour of Colonel Frederick Gustavus Burnaby (1842-1885) of the Royal Horse Guards Blue who fell at the Battle of Abu Klea in 1885 when reforming a broken British Infantry square. He was a renown Victorian hero of the Empire. The British won the Battle at Abu Klea, but lost a great and valiant hero who shall not be forgotten.
