🟢 Grid journaling is one of the most useful exercises a collage artist can do. Working within small, defined squares, you are constantly making decisions like what goes here, what gets left out, how does this piece relate to the one next to it? These are the same questions you ask yourself when you’re doing any collage really, but working in a grid makes the practice visible, and this is going to help you as a collagist!
