The Collaborator Demo shows how real time collaboration can be added to a HOOPS Communicator based application. Through the use of socket.io and a node.js powered backend, each action from a user interacting with a model is mimicked amongst all other viewing sessions to provide a collaborative real-time experience from separate remote locations. Each viewer that joins the application will subscribe to the application server running socket.io.
