Museum of Tropical Queensland is proud to open a new display of First Nations content in the museum foyer. This includes a new Acknowledgement to Country which recognises the local Indigenous groups in Townsville, a display of the objects from the former Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre and there is also a commissioned artwork from local artist Jumbo Prior (Jesse James).
