A scrapbooking collaboration series with my scrappy friend @MoiraOReilly
We are using our tools to create our backgrounds on the 16th of each month. If you want to have a go, tag us #backgroundbasics16 so we can see what you've been doing.
We shall only be using plain coloured cardstock, no patterned paper. Grab those stamps, stencils, punches, scissors, and dies! Embellishments and alphas are allowed!
Today's layout is a "Colin Rupert" 12x12 scrapbook layout documenting Colin the donkey who resides at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. My own two photo design.
White textured cardstock mounted onto green textured cardstock forms the base of the layout.
I've stamped an upside down "grass" frame to the white cardstock using a Judith stamp inked with Encore Ultimate Metallic Silver pigment ink. The "grass" is intended to reflect Colin's fur!
Several stamped images onto the white cardstock and a secondary title using Ranger archival ink in Jet Black. Stamps by Stampin Up, Elle's Studio and Tim Holtz.
Bramble Fox acrylics, silver glitter dome and a flair piece as scattered embellishing.
Journalling using a Uniball fine black pen.
