U-Matic tape containing the birthday message to Mayor Coleman A. Young on his 70th birthday, from a group of the Tuskegee Airmen. The tape is continuous, and contains multiple takes of the Tuskegee Airmen wishing the Mayor a happy birthday. The airmen are gathered on the lawn of the Museum of the Tuskegee Airmen at Fort Wayne. It was recorded on April 14, 1988.

The video is on a 3M U-Matic S tape, MBU-18, with a label reading "Tuskegee Airmen Happy B-Day For Mayor B-Day Card". The tape is housed in a black latching case with a 3M UCA label that states "Tuskegee Airmen Happy B-Day to Mayor C.A.Y. 4-14-88".
