I reallllly need to stop having such a chaotic work flow because I really want to add the progress into each map part I do. I love seeing other peoples and want to add it into my own stuff.
Anyway this is a very meaningful part of my Oc Peregrine's backstory. He was the prince of his nation, destined for greatness but after the war and the things he saw he realized his people are too prideful and the war had no reason to happen and could of been avoided. He is filled with disgust for the things he's seen and done. So amidst the chaos of the battles end he escapes wounded out into the mountains, running away from everything he has come to despise. His people all think he is dead since all they found was his crown, sword and a lot of blood
I love this part of his story, character development like that is just my bread and butter. It was such a joy to be part of this map and be able to translate the image I had in my head for this scene into reality. I hope I managed to convey the feelings the scene should have ^^
