Here are some things to keep in mind within the video:
1. I am NOT an expert numismatist. I just like to collect these coins and learn about their value and origin compared to my currency
2. Some of the coins originate from regions where multiple islands and /or countries use the same denomination and currency. (indicated by the asterix '*' beside them)
- For more information on each coin, currency and conversion rate, I was aided by Google and an app I use called "Wallet by BudgetBakers".
3. Due to the camera not picking up certain details on each coin from time to time, in addition to moments where my fingers may block bits of the coins, I have retaken the images, edited and enlarged them for easier visibility.
4. Here is a list for the currency acronyms and symbols and the meanings of each in this video
• BBD - Barbadian Dollar
• JMD - Jamaican Dollar
• USD - United States Dollar
• XCD - East Caribbean Dollar
• JPY - Japanese Yen
• $ - Dollar
• ¥ - Yen/ Yuan
5. These coins were converted to their most recent value as of the 11th of March, 2024. However, this information may become inaccurate in the future as changes and/or circumstances may cause the value to increase or decrease greatly.
6. The total conversion of each coin in the video is approximately $1.399 BBD ($1.40 / one dollar, forty cents)
The overall total of all the coins (from Part I - IV), would have approximately been $5.507 ($5.50 / five dollars, fifty cents). However, due to exchanging a few of the American and Canadian coins and discarding the unrecognisable coins, the total is now approximately $2.992 BBD ($3.00 / three dollars)
