This coiler is used to coil soft materials such as yarn, rope, tape, etc.
During the coilling process, the orange and blue frames are perpendicular to each other. In the video the transparent object represents the material to be coiled.
To remove the coil, turn the violet screw to change angle between the frames. That is based on the rule: of all the rectangles with the same diagonal, the square has the largest perimeter.
A disadvantage of the mechanism: need to rotate the violet screw too many turns.
