Cohen’s Kappa (κ) is a statistic for inter-rater reliability that corrects for agreement by chance. It compares observed agreement to what you’d expect randomly. Values range from −1 to 1 (0 ≈ chance, 1 = perfect). Great for classification labels, medical diagnoses, and content coding.
