This video is NOT saying water, burrs, etc, do not make changes; instead, this video is saying unless you are controlling the big variables first, the minor changes will not make a difference. We need to prioritize the cup over the process once more. I love nerding out about coffee and going into the minutia and that will not change. But, I have seen a recent influx of people into coffee who quickly turned tail and ran from the intensity with which it is presented. By me. By influencers. By online fora. Etc.
Hope this video is sobering and enjoyable as well as potentially edifying for some.
