In this fact-filled episode of Burbex, Brin explores an abandoned coffee house in Shanghai, where he explains Chinese Coffee Culture, from the emergence of Japanese style coffee houses in the 1990s, to the more recent emergence of Starbucks and fast food coffee like 711, KFC, and McCafe. As well as exploring the coffee house, Brin finds Dannemann Cigars which he puffs on while explaining how open a padlock without the key - purely for educational purposes of course!!!

In this PoV episode of Burbex, Brin is joined with his loyal dog Qinqin (that means kiss kiss) whose nose leads the way through a Chinese village where Brin is looking for a spooky wooden house with more than a hundred years of history.
Inside he finds not only photos from the 1980s, but also fake Chinese Transformers, and some amazing 80s lampshades. Out in the cobbles streets, Brin talks with the locals, and even finds a spooky abandoned church when he gets lost in the winding Shanghai alleyways.
